Major Project feature

CCTNS is a Mission Mode Project (MMP) conceptualized by MHA under National e-Governance Plan which is being implemented across all the States & Union Territories. It includes vertical connectivity of police units (linking police units at various levels within the States – police stations, district police offices, state headquarters, SCRB and other police formations – and States, through state headquarters and SCRB, to NCRB at GOI level) as well as horizontal connectivity, linking police functions at State and Central level to external entities. CCTNS also provides for a citizen’s interface to provide basic services to citizens

Activities Performed

• Monitoring the adherence of the project deliveries to the specified timelines as per RFP and Contract
• Monitoring the deployment, customization, integration & configuration of Common Application Software
• Validation of Gap Analysis, FRS, SRS, RTM, Test Cases etc. 
• Monitoring the procurement, deployment & commissioning of necessary hardware and connectivity
• Identify the areas of customization of CCTNS software
