To give you a slight background about myself, I completed my PGDM in International Business from FORE School of Management in New Delhi in 2015, and was working with NIIT Technologies for the last 5 years in their leadership program. I had been responsible for setting up the company's Robotics practice from a sales enablement and product management perspective, alongside acting as solution architect, process specialist, and project manager in various delivery projects. For 1.5 years, I was based out of London as a Business Development Manager, and I owned the sales and delivery threads for RPA for the EMEA region. My focus had been on building expertise on RPA as a solution, UiPath and Automation Anywhere technology, and the entire RPA implementation life cycle. Please find below a snapshot of my profile:
• 5+ years of corporate experience with specialization in digital services and automation.
• 4.5+ years of experience with Robotic process automation in opportunity assessment, presales, sales enablement, process mapping, solution design, and project management.
• Certified in Six Sigma Green Belt, UiPath Development, UiPath Business Analyst, Google Analytics, and ITIL 2011. Trained in UiPath solution architect threads, and Automation Anywhere threads.
Specific to RPA, please find a snapshot of my work:
• Process Excellence - Process assessment for RPA feasibility, As-Is and To-Be process mapping on MS Visio. 25+ Projects done in Banking and Finance, Insurance, Telecom and Travel & Transportation verticals, and on Finance & Accounting (AP) horizontal.
• Presales - Owner of presales profile across all geographies for RPA. Responded to 45+ RFPs and leads and helped convert business amounting to USD 4.5M+. Created and maintained all collaterals for RPA. Responsible for sales enablement for all accounts and leads for the EMEA region.
• Project management - Led 18 RPA projects, 12 for single bot implementations, and 6 for multiple bot implementations. Responsibilities included development, billing and timelines estimation, RPA environment setup, coordination with client, and project management of developers to ensure timely delivery.
• Sales Enablement – Leading the P&L for Europe and Middle East for RPA, responsible as business consultant for customer success in RPA delivery projects and sales enablement as RPA SME in front of prospects. Led 5+ consulting drives for customers to guide them to set up their RPA Centers of Excellence.
As of January 2020, I am based out of Gurgaon in India, working with another IT company, while also freelancing as RPA consultant. My experience in robotic process automation has been cross functional so as to develop in depth knowledge across the RPA lifecycle and build holistic expertise in the technology. In addition to the content and presales skills built over previous assignments, adding technical knowhow around process excellence – opportunity assessment, process prioritization, and process mapping – has allowed me to contribute at every step of an RPA implementation project.
