Experienced Associate consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the software development cycle focusing on bringing efficiency using automation and OCR development tools. Implemented and deployed several bots for finance depatment using Blue Prism.
It was an automation project to read Data from the inspection form uploaded by the user on the website and store it directly to the database. We developed an API for the website which takes Form and type of form as Input and then in Backend it processes form using AZURE Cognitive services and then extract the useful information from that form metadata. And finally that data to Server database. Once the data got store into the database User was able to see the stored data and verify it too.
Most of the code was done using C# and visual studio IDE. It helped to reduce the user interaction time from average 15minutes to 3 minutes.
There was an issue of the large difference between the actual and forecast revenue for a project. The most important reason was the employee's ignorance of filling-up the timecard on time. Resource Manager used to send a reminder to the employee in the last week only. We proposed to build a bot for this task which will process all the resource files and match with the GFS report( containing data about filled timecards). It will also then create a separate file containing data about the resources forecasted revenue in one sheet, Project-wise forecasted revenue in other sheets, and actual revenue project-wise and employee wise in separate sheets. It will also highlight the data which shows the difference between forecasted and actual revenue to be more than a limit. The bot then emails these files and summary table to managers.
Bot reduce the amount of time taken for this task from 30 minutes to 4 minutes and most importantly, It can send these reports every week so that managers can take action in the early period itself. It brings down the difference in actual vs forecasted revenue from 20% to 8%.
Meeting with a client every week to know about its requirements and advising about the technology that can be used for it. Once it get approves, Implementing the solution with the help of the team and test it.
