Mr. Lafferty is considered a thought leader in IoT for Oil and Gas and has made over 40 presentations on IoT for oil and gas, machine learning, analytics, "drones" and blockchain. Besides technical presentations, roles included serving as conference chairman, providing keynote "landscape setting" presentations and chairing discussion sessions. David has also developed an "IoT for Oil and Gas Masterclass" that offers a day-long deep dive into the technology stacks of sensors, communications, big data, analytics, and visualization.
