I have over 18 years experience as a consultant/PM (Big 4) and senior corporate resource within HR and IT. This entailed leading multiple HR Technology solution implementations and upgrades (as well as other ERP solutions), with both hosted and Saas solutions. I have additionally been responsible for associated Process Engineering and Operational Change Management activities aligned with all operational and project-based functions.
With a background in both HR and IT, I fully understand the challenges that can arise ensuring cross-functional teams are working collaboratively and effectively.
The aforementioned leadership roles encompassed managing employee and contingent workforce, as well as off-shore consulting resources. I have been responsible for operational/project budget, vendor management and strategic planning around application roadmaps and vision – with the latter geared towards keeping existing technology stacks in line with business and market requirements.

PeopleSoft HCM Consulting - General

  • Lead discovery workshops geared towards identifying system configuration, customization strategies and business process design for: Core HR, Talent Acquisition/Candidate Gateway, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Payroll, Leave Accrual, Time & Labor and ELM design changes within PeopleSoft HCM release 9.2
  • Prepare test conditions, scripts and test plans in accordance with client processes and requirements. Executed the functional testing efforts for implementations/upgrades during all test phases of the projects

PeopleSoft HCM Project Management - General

ServiceNow - Support

  • Planned and executed the transition of ServiceNow technical/functional support from an outsourced entity to our off-shore partner (TCS) and client  resources saving the organization $450K annually in support costs. This included a design and deployment of enhanced application monitoring, process owner engagement/planning and an enterprise-wide communications plan.

ADP Vantage

  • Manage technical support of ADP Vantage with respect to HR functional requirements and business reporting needs (HR, Finance). This included ensuring regulatory and SOX compliance mandates were adhered to.
  • Member of the ADP Steering Committee that undertakes tactical and strategic planning around ADP Vantage.·       
  • Led cross-functional initiatives with HR and vendor partners for deployment of enterprise-wide programs (e.g. Career Portal Redesign, Rewards & Recognition program), by organizing all project meetings and deployment planning/execution.
  • Led efforts to successfully automate HR and Payroll process, resulting in approximately $200K in cost savings

    • Responsible for the development, support, budget and strategic planning of Global applications, within the Corporate Partner Functions (HR, Legal, Finance and Marketing).
    • Managed Production Support activities and projects for all off-shore and Covance resources around PeopleSoft HCM, Oracle EBS, ServiceNow and CMS (Covance’s proprietary proposal application with interfaces to the SalesForce and PeopleSoft Financials platforms). This additionally entailed responsibility for Covance’s Learning Management. System, Business Continuity solution and other enterprise-wide business applications (hosted or could-based)
    • Planned and executed the transition of ServiceNow technical/functional support from an outsourced entity to our off-shore partner (TCS) and Covance resources saving the organization $450K annually in support costs. This included a design and deployment of enhanced application monitoring, process owner engagement/planning and an enterprise-wide communications plan.
    • Lead efforts around SOW review and vendor selection for the ServiceNow upgrade (ITSM), by engaging Procurement and vendor teams in the necessary discussions and associated planning around this initiative.
    • Lead the planning around Life Cycle Management (LCM) of corporate applications. This includes resource planning, contract negotiations, upgrade planning/delivery and proper maintenance of the application technology stack.
    • Member of the ITSM (IT Service Management) Executive Steering Committee which enhanced the company’s ITSM program, operational effectiveness and strategic vision.
    • Organized and lead weekly meetings with the application support teams and IT Project Management. These efforts solidified cross-functional engagement and proper project execution of SDLC and Change Control functions. Led oversight of al Project Management activities for enterprise ERP projects and initiatives.
    • Led IT in business-critical, standing initiatives for company compensation and corporate budget planning (normally in excess of 4 million dollars).
    • Coordinated project Resource Management efforts by providing respective forecasting models to Business Unit management.
