Integration C4E Team

Description: Integration C4E (centre for enablement) team is responsible for enabling various business divisions to build and drive consumption of assets (APIs), thereby enabling speed and agility.

Responsibilities -

• To liaise with architects, developers, testers and project team members to drive and deliver all the integration aspects of a solution to ensure it meets business requirements.
• To work on the design, development, testing and troubleshooting of APIs in alignment with the corporate security policies.
•  To translate business requirements to technical designs and map source systems to target interfaces.
•  As a part of the C4E team, I have worked on various system integrations like workday, canvas, salesforce, service now etc. using Mule 4.
• Responsible for implementing a failed request retry framework for event based integration pattern using Mule 4 and AWS RDS.

API Platform Engineering

Description: The Enterprise API management platform primarily focuses on enabling business capabilities as APIs, which act as facades on top of underlying enterprise services. It is built on the APIGEE Edge product. It provides various capabilities such as security mediation, traffic management, versioning and enrichment.

This project requires working in multi-vendor scenarios and creating APIs that facilitate the consumer to integrate with providers’ APIs through Apigee Edge.

Responsibilities:

• To design the Swagger (YAML/JSON format), and REST URIs for the APIs as per the REST design principles.
•  To coordinate with various application (external and internal) teams and identify the requirements for new APIs and policies.
• To support customers in optimizing and improving the existing features of all API applications.
• To resolve technical problems related to API application.
•  To provide technical assistance during community discussion for educating developers about API applications.
•  Building and Testing (functional, unit, integration and performance testing) of APIs.
• To follow incident and change management process for rollout to higher environments.
• To mentor new resources on development technologies, principles and guidelines.

Integration Engineering

Description:  Integration engineering team is responsible for deploying the POCs across the products identified for various layers of SOA – ESB, Enterprise Caching, Security Gateway etc. It works with the Product vendor for any issues or PMRs raised during the service development/deployments. It also identifies the best practices which fit into the application architecture.

Responsibilities:

•  Extensively worked on different DataPower family products like XI50B, XI52, XC10 and IBM DataPower Gateway (MT - 8436).
• Worked on several POCs – XC10 integration with DataPower, response caching on DataPower, Gateway Scripting, and ITCAM monitoring setup.
• Worked with Application and IBM teams to troubleshoot functional and performance issues in DataPower services.
• Created several UNIX shell scripts to automate the tasks required during firmware upgrades, GDHA setup etc.
• Extensively worked on DataPower CLI and SOMA calls.
