I am Srinivasa Obulapu, working as Senior Consultant for the last ten years in Oakton (now NTT). My expertise includes database administration Oracle, Oracle EBS, MS SQL as well as MongoDB. I have extensive experience in setting up High Availability as well Disaster Recovery for the organizations which we are supporting.
I have installed Oracle RAC , MS SQL Mirroring, Availability Groups and Distributed Availability Groups across data centers. Last year successfully completed Oracle RAC database migration from one Data Center to another data center.
Apart from database administration and day today support, have knowledge in Microsoft Business Intelligence like SSRS, SSIS and successfully completed a migrating data from Access to MS CRM.
For the last couple of years I have been working with AWS and Azure
Previous to Oakton (NTT), worked with IBM,GENPACT and HCL Perot and my total IT experience is about 16 years.
There were around 40 Oracle instances (9i,10g,11g) which were to be migrated from one data center to antother as data center. There were Oracle RAC instances with DR setup which were to be migrated. We started migrating with non prod and once we migrated the non production Oracle instances, the application team confirmed that all application were working as per expectations. After getting the Client confirmation we migrated the Production Oracle databases with least outage using Data Broker techinique.
The requirement for this client is to setup MS CRM 365 on Azure virtutal machines. We are responsible for installing and confiuration of MS SQL servers in Azure Virutual Systems in different Regions. We have configured Avaiability Groups for HA and Distributed Avalability Groups for DR across data centers. As per client requiremnet we tested multiple failover and failback to check RPO/RTO.
This client has a MS Access database from their legacy system and the requirement is to migrate this data to MS CRM on premises. We developed SSIS packages to migrate the data to CRM from source. The data is successfully migrated.
We are responsible for 24 X 7 Monitoring and Maintenance of Customer Databases (Capital One), physically located in the U.S. and Remote Administration of Production Databases in HP using tools provided by the client. Apart from the regular activities we have up gradation and migration of the databases from Oracle 7.4 to 9i.
