IT Professional with 9 plus years of experience in IT and 7 plus years of experience working on ServiceNow platform. I have expertise in ITSM/ITOM/ITBM/CSM/HR/Custom Application-ServiceNow (Solution Design, Development, Implementation and Operational Support) for multiple customers ranging from medium sized businesses to enterprise operations.

Until recently, I have worked for Finastra (Fintech) and Deloitte Canada (Consulting) as a " Senior Consultant- ServiceNow”. In these roles I was focused on working with the Engagement managers and the client’s project teams, and had the overall responsibility to drive the completion of deliverable's on time and within budget.

Previous experience includes working with Sumo IT Solutions, Mantralogix Inc, as an ITSM Consultant -
ServiceNow focusing on ITSM solutions, CMDB, Custom applications, ServiceNow implementations and operational support.

My co-workers and friends would describe me as professional, hard worker and a quick learner. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.

I have Masters of Engineering degree in ECE from University of Waterloo, Canada, and Bachelor of Technology degree in CSE from the Punjab Technical University, India.

ServiceNow Platform Upgrade (Madrid to New York)

Description: This project involved the ServiceNow platform upgrade from Madrid to New York Patch 2 version.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for ServiceNow platform upgrade from Madrid version to New York version.
  • Export all the development work from ServiceNow DEV instance using xml files.
  • Cloned the ServiceNow production instance to non-production instances to ensure all instances have most recent data.
  • Upgrade the ServiceNow DEV instance to New York version.
  • Execute post upgrade validation to ensure instance is accessible, users can log in, emails are triggering, integrations are operational and forms are working as expected.
  • Fix all the defects found in QA testing.
  • Review the skipped changes after the upgrade and take action to revert to OOB functions or keep existing functions.
  • Clone and upgrade UAT instance to New York version.
  • Deploy the fixes from DEV to UAT.
  • Participate in UAT testing and validation.
  • Schedule and upgrade production instance from Madrid to New York.
  • Deploy the fixes from UAT to PROD and execute fix scripts and post upgrade validation.

Implement ServiceNow HR Service Delivery Enhancements

Description: This project involved the implementation of ServiceNow HRSD enhancements, new HR services, record producers, custom workflows, email notifications.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for creation of new HR services, record producers in ServiceNow.
  • Developed updates to existing HR services, workflows as per business requirements updates.
  • For approval and notification activity, designed and configured email notifications and approvals.
  • Configured auto assignment for HR case.
  • Developed HR criteria and used criteria to restrict content in the activity for some specific users.
