• Worked as Hyperion Planning Support Specialist Consultant with an exposure to Finance
• Experience in design and solution architect of OLAP cubes for Oracle EPM suite and translate the business requirements into financial reporting system.
• Requirement analysis of development/change requests and analyzes the business impact and provides required recommendations.
• Assist business users for posting data correctly in system to deliver required and timely MIS. Design calculation rule and scripts for generating P/L, Balance sheet and Cash flows. Close liaison with business users for UAT and system issues.
• Develop and design static reporting using Hyperion Financial Reporting and MS Excel. Preparing Reconciliation reports and Templates using Excel/Access/SQL and automation using VBA and Excel macros. Detailed Analysis for data load and reconciliation Issues. Provide Excel workings to user for tallying business logic implemented in system.
• Provide support to the existing Hyperion applications (Planning & Consolidation) in the current state
• Support month end close using Hyperion Consolidation (HFM)
• Administrative functions:
.Data movement from HFM to Planning, Staging table and HFM
.Data reconciliation - HFM vs Planning, Staging table vs HFM
.Starting and stopping application services weekly, in case of any addition (new modules) or applications the effort needs to be revaluated
.Database/Cube maintenance, user security design, run ASO aggregation, automate data loads and batch jobs.
.Migration from Development to Production
.Maintenance and upgradation of existing Documents,
.Support/Maintain Manual data backup end of every month
.User Security Changes, provisioning and adding new users to the groups
.Patch upgradation in case of any functionality requirement, as mandated by Oracle
