Bank Account Validation

A cutomer facing insurance billing system (Guidewire) used to manage the billing information and processes pertaining to policy holders; needed a validation mechanism put in-place, to validate bank information details for policy holders and thereby ensure quality information stored in the billing system.

My project was to design and develop a mule integration application REST api, which will be invoked by the billing system to validate a bank information against an Oracle database. This mule application was also expected to synchronize the latest bank information into the Oracle database with a file from Payment Canada sFTP. This project was completed on time and within budget.

Claim Center General Ledger Integration

The project was to convert and migrate an existing ESB integration previously written on a backend Java technology platform Sonic (by Aurea).This integration provided connectivity between a Guidewire (ClaimCenter) source system and a PeopleSoft back end system. I was tasked to implement the conversion of this ESB application from Sonic to MuleSoft Anypoint 3.x. This involved conversion of complex XSLT transformation into dataweave, architecting an API led connectivity pattern into the conversion.

Payment Processing with (Chase)

I designed, developed and managed a payment processing integration application in Mule 3.x. This application is triggered by a cron job, picks up a payment file dropped on a fileshare server, reads the file using xFLAT in Mule, transforms the file using Dataweave, and XSLT processor, splits the file into multiple files, and outputs these files on a schedule to be picked up by a different mainfram process system. Went through the whole SDLC process with this application, from requirement gathering with the vendors up until production.
