I am a hardworking individual who has worked for more than 15 years as a Sage Consultant, from implementing and supporting Sage Line 500, Sage 1000, Sage 200, and Sage X3. I have implemented more than 8 X3 projects successfully as stated in my curriculum vitae and I am also a good team player who is results-oriented.
Implementation of Sage X3 Financials and Distributions for a Clothing Retail company comprising of 4 entities and 135 branches, comprehensive information gathering since some of the processes could not be achieved through standard functionality, developments had to be done to cater for the installment calculations as well as purchase receipts by style, or the style and size matrix. This was a big project but we managed to complete it and it is currently running smoothly
Financials implementation at a Cement Manufacturing company, this was a move from Sage 1000 to Sage X3 and involved the designing of the chart of accounts and the accompanying dimensions, creation of different payment types to cater for the existing scenarios and usage of early settlement discounts. The client wanted to make full use of most of the standard system functions with a few changes on the auto journals. The project was a success and it is currently running live
This implementation was for a newspaper company and it involved a lot of devs to cater to the requirements which could not be addressed by the standard X3. It was another successful project which was implemented using the phased approach, that is, standard X3 implementation first as Phase 1 then dev implementations as phase 2 and 3, the project is up and running
Implementation of Sage X3 for a company comprising of more than 13 subsidiaries, with a maximum of 50 branches in one of the subsidiaries. The implementation was phased by subsidiary and it was all set up and lanched successfully, sage X3 is currently being used by this client
I am currently studying on a block with the Catholic University of Zimbabwe. I have managed t complete Y1S1 and due to pressure from projects I have missed a lot of school, which has caused me to lag behind
This diploma in Project management was based on PMBOK and follows the PMP elements. I acquired this diploma through the Project Management Institute of Zimbabwe
The higher national diploma in computer studies was acquired from the Harare Polytechnic and it involved a lot of diverse modules from programming, data structures, data communication, operation research, and a lot of other challenging IT modules.
