Led development of an electronic health record (EHR) analytics integration product for Optum Life Sceinces. Features included a distributed design, Redis backend, data transfer to Apervita’s core platform through APIs and SFTP, React web UI, polling from FHIR APIs and SQL extracts from EPIC Clarity databases, processing inbound API calls and HL7 data streams, Dockerization. Ran meetings with client clinical SMEs, project managers and engineers to capture requirements and coordinate project timelines. Built a real-time notification service into the core platform with Slack and HipChat integrations.
Led implementation of new features for APIs supporting iOS and Android geofencing SDKs. DevOps automation within Amazon Web Services environments. Managed a partner relationship with mParticle, and built an integration into their Firehose mobile analytics service.
