• Developed a strategic solution for Group Purchasing as part of their global integrated "OnePurchasing" platform, providing consistent MI and full transparency of hotel portfolio and performance across all source markets.
• Utilised Snowflake and Amazon Redshift data sources to create a combined view of booking, inventory and contract data.
• Led the global rollout to over 500+ users across Purchasing, Product and Commercial Finance. User training was delivered through a series of webinars and onsite workshops at regional team conferences.
• Provided developer level training to UK & Nordics teams, coaching solutions to scenarios in a complex data environment.

Data Visualisation Specialist (Spotfire / Tableau Contractor: 12/2016 – 06/2019)

• Developed both fixed format MI packs (management and board-level) and a suite of Compliance self-service management dashboards covering Employee Breaches, Whistleblowing, Personal Account Dealing, Mandatory Training and Issues Management.
• Managed the migration of Compliance dashboards from one technology platform to another.
• Utilised the Hadoop-based Compliance Data Lake combining large disparate data sets. This presented many benefits, but also a number of challenges regarding data quality and structure.
• Implementation of a formal control environment to help mitigate the associated risks.
• Regular presentations to senior stakeholders and also a demo at Barclays London Tableau User Day, hosted by Tableau.

Data Visualisation Specialist (Datawatch / Tableau Contractor: 11/2015 – 12/2016)

• Developed a Feeds & Files Status Dashboard combining large sets of streaming data across Market Risk and Credit Risk. Created a series of summary visualisations using Datawatch with a drill down to detail. Historical trending visualisations were also provided.
• Developed a PRA proof of concept in Tableau highlighting intra-day Book Business Status and Feed Load Status changes.

Data Visualisation Specialist (Spotfire Contractor: 09/2014 – 11/2015)

• Developed and implemented ‘production ready’ solutions on behalf of the Life Sciences Technology Consulting Services Team. These were based on customer needs for analytics, including development of pipeline analysis, analytic workflows and predictive modelling solutions.
• Support and Enhancements to the existing suite of Spotfire reports both in front end report authoring and Information Link development and optimisation. Experience with Iron Python scripting and custom enhancement development in Spotfire WebPlayer (HTML, jQuery) using the Spotfire JavaScript API.
