Summary: Work with various functions within organization to provide on-demand automation solutions, while understanding the processes and business requirements.

• Responsibilities - RPA Developer/Lead role - (Present role)

• While working at RPA COE, with various functions, I am responsible for listing down use cases/process/test scenarios not feasible to automate with traditional automation.
• Responsible to gather requirements to automate using requirement workshops, interviews, meetings. Document these requirements; prepare ‘As-Is’ business process flow map.
• Check the automation feasibility of these requirements using UiPath RPA. Work with Solution Architect, RPA Dev and business owner, calculate the ROI and document the outcome. The ‘To-Be’ business process flow map. Finalize PDD.
• Recognized UiPath trainer in BNY Mellon training group. Have successfully trained more than 25 associates in 2 different classroom training sessions. Also have conducted sessions on Automation applicability and  UiPath awareness for leadership.

Project 1

Deals creation using Deal on-boarding application.

Project Abstract:

Picking up data from excel, putting it into a Deal manager (Web based) application. Sharing the deal IDs for further approvals.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Documented the PDD while sitting with BNY Mellon Ops guy and understanding the deal creation process.
• Outlined the scope of automation, which was 80% of the process in this case.
• Presented and got the approval for the proposed ‘To-Be’ process.
• Implemented agreed solution using RE-framework using queues and credential assets.
• Participated in Unit testing and UAT. We maintain the solution even now.

Project 2

Jira tickets creation and handling using UiPath Jira connector.

Project Abstract:

Picking up data from a structured email, creating and assigning Jira tickets for TSG team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Understood the As-Is and Proposed To-Be process of tickets maintenance.
• Automated the process of bulk Jira ticket creation and updates based on emails following a structured format.
• Integrated UiPath to Jira tool using APIs and created the automated process bots to run in the background so it’ faster and can run other FE processes simultaneously.

 Project 3

Field to Field, FE data comparison testing between a legacy trading platform (a desktop app) with a new web based platform and the pdf monthly statements being generated.

Project Abstract:

Values of several fields to be picked up from different front end screens of same trading platform. Comparison testing to be done amongst themselves and same fields from monthly pdf statements.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Documented and PDD document, which was based on a test scenario in this case.
• Proposed to use, UiPath and testing solution for this problem statement.
• Achieved 85% automation of this testing without any background processes.
• Implemented a solution dealing with desktop, web based apps and pdf statements.

 Project 4

HR, Payroll Portal entries for new joiners.

Project Abstract:

Converting data from PDF to Excel (using Rossum OCR tool) and filling up on company HR and Payroll systems.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Worked with HR person to understand the ‘As-Is’ Process.
• Study the automation feasibility and identified the scope of automation. Finalized PDD.
• Proposed usage of Rossum tool’s usage for OCR.
• Worked out ‘To-be’ process. Worked out SDD. Explained it to team of developers.
• Implemented the solution using RE-Framework.
• Participated in Unit and integration testing of the solution post development.
